TexShare Databases Guide

The databases listed below will no longer be available through TexShare after their current contracts end. Most of these changes will take effect on August 31, 2025. These removals are part of TSLAC’s response to reduced federal funding and reflect an effort to manage costs while continuing to provide high-value resources through the TexShare program.

  • Content: ProQuest African American Heritage is a groundbreaking digital resource exclusively devoted to African American family history research. This collection was created in partnership with leading African American genealogists to develop a comprehensive mix of resources, records, and tools specifically pertaining to African Americans.
