SRSU 1101 - Library Orientation

Welcome to the Sul Ross Library

Getting Started

Thank you for visiting!

The Bryan Wildenthal Memorial Library in Alpine, Texas serves a varied community of lifelong learners. From students, faculty and staff here in Alpine to students, faculty and staff at our Del Rio, Uvalde, and Eagle Pass Rio Grande College campuses, to Community Borrowers and guests, we are here to support the mission and vision of Sul Ross State University.

Why are you here?

Libraries exist to promote lifelong learning and to provide access to high quality information. All learners can and should take advantage of resources and services offered by academic libraries while attending university. Let's start at the beginning. In SRSU 1101, we want to focus on helping you do the following:

  • Gain familiarity with the Library's resources and services
  • Make ethical considerations about how to use information resources
