ENGL 1302 | Composition II | Francis

Books, Articles and Other Sources

Below, you'll find a list of books available in the Library's circulating (physical) book collection. But libraries aren't just about physical books! Other information sources are available to your research needs, whether you're collecting background information on a topic or exploring a specific research question.

When you search the Library's databases, you'll encounter a number of different Information Sources, such as:

  • Journal Articles (some of which will be "scholarly and academic" or "peer-reviewed")
  • News Articles from newspapers or other periodicals (magazines)
  • Book Chapters
  • Book Reviews

It's important to pay attention to the guidelines laid out in your assignment. When your professor requires you to use X number of a certain kind of source, you can tailor your research for specific information sources.
