Accessing Resources

You can browse and access the SRSU Library’s resources 24/7 by starting your research with these tools:

  • QuickSearch: Find books, journals, and more with this all-in-one search tool, available on the library homepage.
  • Databases A-Z: Explore a list of research databases for articles and other resources.
  • BrowZine: Browse scholarly journals easily using this tool.

Tip: If you are just starting out, we recommend you begin with QuickSearch. Check out our FAQ to learn more about when to use each tool.

Physical Materials:

  • Books, journals, DVDs, and other materials are available for use at the Bryan Wildenthal Memorial Library in Alpine or Eagle Pass Library Services in Eagle Pass. With the exception of journals, these materials can be checked out by SRSU dual credit students.

Electronic Materials:

  • On-campus in Alpine, Eagle Pass, Del Rio, or Uvalde? You can access electronic resources without logging in, as long as you're on the campus network.

Search the catalog and access e-resources from anywhere by logging in with your LoboID and password when prompted in QuickSearch. This verifies you're an SRSU student and unlocks off-campus access. Alternatively, log in to MySRSU and use the "Library" link under Quick Links > Resources.
