SRSU 1101 - Library Orientation

Welcome to the Sul Ross Library

Accessing Online Resources

The Library's electronic subscription databases make up the bulk of available resources, including source formats such as journal articles, popular news articles, book chapters, eBooks, book reviews, audiovisual material, and more.

Online resources are available to be searched and browsed three ways from the library's homepage. See numbers 1-3 in the screenshot below:

1. All Library Search, powered by Ebsco Discovery System, searches a majority of our online subscription databases at one time, returning the most bang for your buck on a general search.

Note: See the What does this search? page to see a list of databases not aggregated by the All Library Search discovery system.

2. Browse and Search Databases A-Z allows you to search subject databases individually.

3. Browse and Search the Online Journal Collection allows you to browse and search the database of online journals and periodicals and drill down into titles and articles.
